The Apple rumour mill has been turning again with attention already shifting to the next generation of iPhones. A report from Bloomberg has claimed that Apple is developing two larger iPhones that will also have curved screens.
The report alleged that the new iPhone would come in a 4.7 and 5.5 inch version, with both featuring a curved glass screen.
It’s not the first rumour to emerge regarding an increase in screen size for the iPhone, but it’s the prospect of an iPhone with a curved screen that has generated more interest.
Curved screen technology is certainly nothing new, with LG and Samsung already having released smartphones with curved screens, but it’s rumoured that Apple also plans to incorporate sophisticated pressure sensitivity, which could vastly improve gaming and drawing applications.
According to the report we can expect the new iPhones to be released in the third quarter of next year.
