Motorola Aura - features and reviews

Editor's Note

The Motorola Aura has just been announced by Motorola.  Harking back to the classic Motorola V70 - the first ever swivel/rotator phone - the Aura features similar styling but with much higher quality, luxury materials.

The Aura boasts the world's first circular 16 million colour display which features a 62-carat sapphire crystal lens.  This quality credentials of this phone are further enhanced by the chemically etched textures on the stainless steel housing and the 'assisted-opening blade mechanism'.  Like the old V70, it'll impress your mates down the pub!

However, the Aura is a study in style over substance.  Whilst it will look amazing and the circular display and cool design will look great, the phone's other features are fairly basic.  No 3G, a 2 megapixel camera (most decent camera phones have at least 3.2 megapixel cameras), no FM radio and no email.  You wont see many people giving up their iPhone for the Motorola Aura but it'll be perfect if you're a strict talker/texter who loves elegant design.

No details on the deals or prices yet but watch this space.
