Editor's Note

The Vodafone HTC Magic is due to be the second 'Google-phone' launched on the Android platform.  The Magic has a similar spec to the T-Mobile G1 but without a QWERTY keyboard, making it lighter and more slim.

It features a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, WiFi and 3G for fast web browsing and email download.  Instant Messaging is built in and the Android Application store offers thousands of free and paid for apps for download.

There's a digital compass and the GPS is combined with Google maps and Google StreetView to make it a great SatNav tool.

The HTC Magic is exclusive to Vodafone.

The HTC Magic is available now for free with Vodafone from £35 per month
