Palm Pre - features and reviews

Editor's Note

The Palm Pre is tipped to be a serious rival to the iPhone.  It features Palm's new webOS operating system which has some innovative new features for a mobilephone.

Palm Synergy groups together your conversations wiht the same person in a single chat-style view, mixing together texts, emails and instant messaging.  Your contacts list will even tell you who is online and ready to chat. The slide-out keyboard makes the Palm Pre a great mobile phone for email addicts.

The Pre will be supported by a dedicated App store much like the iPhone and Android phones and rumours say that Palm's new mobile will be able to sync directly with your iTunes, the first none Apple product to do so.

The Palm Pre is due to launch in the UK in June 2009 and the rumours say it will be exclusive to O2.
