Overall

Overall I like this phone a lot as I'm a great fan of Sonyericsson phones so I pretty much like everything they produce. However, having gone from a K800i to this, I've been a bit disappointed. The keys tend to be a bit fiddly so sometimes writing text messages can take longer than needed. It also sometimes freezes for no reason, but that used to happen with my last phone and it's easily sorted by the 'turn it off and back on again' method.

I'm also really disappointed with the camera - it's rubbish! it doesn't even have a flash! But again, the camera on the K800i was fab so I suppose it's just the comparison that means this one ends up lacking.

Finally, this may seem like a petty complaint, but I hate the fact that this phone doesn't display the time when in sleep mode. This function on Sonyericssons means that when the phone is 'sleeping' the time always shows on the screen and if you have any messages or a missed call you get a symbol on the screen. This phone doesn't have that function so the screen is black in sleep mode. I hate that. It makes it look like it's off, and to check for a message you have to push a button to show the homescreen. It really bugs me!

Other than that the slide mechanism is nice, and generally it's a nice phone, but Sonyericsson have done much better.
