Why did I choose this phone? Thats a question im asking myself alot since I chose this as a new contract phone 6 months ago. Im a girl, so naturally I went for the pink, shiny, trendy looking one. Yes superficial!! But now I wish I had thought things through more.
The phone is easy to use, very easy. You cant go far wrong. It is utterly basic. A main menu with all the usual suspect functions. Nothing unique or to make you go 'oooh'. Messages, call log, settings, camera etc etc. The buttons arent fiddly. The screen is quite big aprox 2 inch by 1. Im struggling here to find good points. Did I mention it was pink?
On the negative side the volume function is rubbish. It doesnt go loud at all. I struggle to hear it a lot even when its in my bag next to me. Therefore making it pointless when trying to listen to music. Also there is no vibrate function. Thats always been a highlight for me when having a mobe! Wheres the fun in that.
Another bug bear for me is if you are sending a text you must already have the number of which you are sending the message to preset on your phone. There isnt the option to send to a new number as far as I can see which is frankly ridiculous. I have had to save countless messages to draft, gone and inputted and saved a new number and then sent from draft. Which is so time consuming. If anyone knows a trick around this or if im missing something please do let me know?!
The camera quality is okay. 2mp. Surprisingly ive taken some good shots and have no complaints in that department. Again its very basic, once you have taken the photo you cant crop it or do special effects or anything. Your just lumped with it as it is. No messing about or anything. Pah. No customisation at all.
The battery life is good I usually get about 4 days out of one charge.
In general I find the phone flimsy, fun free and fairly average. If you like your gadgets this isnt for you. Its boring. It looks girly which attracted me initially but now I wish had gone beyond looks (isnt that always the case!) and for something technically and quality wise superior. Stay away!!
